Overview

Our junior language programme at Florida Atlantic University & Florida Tour is designed for 13 – 18 year old students and offers one week in Boca Raton with an adapted English course and a full excursion programme to key attractions. The second week includes a fantastic tour by private bus to explore the most beautiful natural wonders and the greatest influential historical sites of the south of Florida.

Tuition

  • 15 hours language tuition in the first week with morning and afteroon classes
  • Qualified and experienced native speaker teachers
  • English level assessment on arrival to ensure students are placed at the correct level
  • Small class sizes with a maximum of 15 students
  • Course book and materials including end of course report and certificate

Excursions

  • Daily evening excursions to Miami by private bus supervised by an activity leader
  • 5 days/4 nights trip to Orlando, Tampa and Palm Beach
  • Activity leader for every day of the tour and English speaking guide at each destination
  • Entrance to Universal Studios Florida and Kennedy Space Center

Accommodation

    FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY – CAMPUS

  • Accommodation in single/double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom for students
  • Accommodation in single bedrooms with ensuite bathroom for group leaders
  • Breakfast and lunch in modern cafeteria offering a range of healthy meal options and $15 voucher for dinner off campus. *First week only
  • 24 hours campus and accommodation security

  • Accommodation in quadruple bedrooms with ensuite bathroom for students
  • Accommodation in double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom for group leaders
  • Rooms cleaned and bed linen changed every day
  • Breakfast in hotel. *Please note that lunch and dinner are not included in the tour
  • ZUMA Education support and welfare from arrival to departure

Booking Deposit

All bookings submitted before the 14th March 2025 will be reserved until this date. 15% deposit of the total agreed course fees must be paid to secure a booking. Any bookings made after the 14th March 2025 will only be confirmed by ZUMA Education on receipt of a 15% deposit of the total agreed course fees. Any bookings made after the 16th May 2025 will only be confirmed by ZUMA Education on receipt of a 50% deposit of the total agreed course fees. If the booking is made within 21 days before the programme start date full course fees are required at the time of booking.

Payment Terms

50% of total agreed course fees must be paid by 16th May. The full agreed course fees must be paid at least 21 days before the course start date. All card payments are subject to a handling fee and a 2% or 4% (American Express) fee levied by the card company. These fees are non-refundable. It is the agent’s responsibility to cover all bank charges and exchange rate differences for the whole transaction. If full payment of course fees in cleared funds is not received before the start date the group will not be allowed to start their programme.

Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in the course fees. ZUMA Education recommends that students travelling to USA obtain full travel and medical insurance to ensure their safety and welfare.

It is the agent’s responsibility to apply for and ensure the students are granted the appropriate visa for their period of study with ZUMA Education.
