New York & East Coast Tour

Overview

Our junior language programme at Fordham University with East Coast Tour is designed for students aged 13 to 18. The first week takes place in New York City, featuring tailored English lessons and a full schedule of excursions to the city’s most iconic attractions. In the second week, students embark on a private bus tour to discover the East Coast’s most stunning natural landscapes and historically significant sites.

Tuition

  • 15 hours language tuition in the first week with morning and afteroon classes
  • Qualified and experienced native speaker teachers
  • English level assessment on arrival to ensure students are placed at the correct level
  • Small class sizes with a maximum of 20 students
  • Course book and materials including end of course report and certificate

Excursions

  • OMNY Card for the length of the stay which allows for travel to all areas of New York
  • Daily evening excursions to New York supervised by an activity leader
  • Half day excursion to Jersey Gardens Outlet
  • 6 days/5 nights trip to Niagara Falls, Washington, Amish Country and Philadelphia
  • Activity leader for every day of the tour and English speaking guide at each destination
  • Entrance to Maid of the Mist at Niagara Falls

Accommodation

    FORDHAM UNIVERSITY – CAMPUS

  • Accommodation in double/triple bedrooms with ensuite bathroom for students

  • Modern cafeteria offering a range of healthy meal options and $15 voucher for dinners off campus. *First week only

    EAST COAST TOUR – HOTEL

  • Accommodation in quadruple bedrooms with ensuite bathroom for students. *4 students sharing 2 double beds
  • Accommodation in double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom for group leaders
  • Rooms cleaned and bed linen changed every day
  • Breakfast in hotel. *Please note that lunch and dinner are not included in the tour

Booking Deposit

All bookings submitted before the 13th March 2026 will be reserved until this date. 15% deposit of the total agreed course fees must be paid to secure a booking. Any bookings made after the 13th March 2026 will only be confirmed by ZUMA Education on receipt of a 15% deposit of the total agreed course fees. Any bookings made after the 15th May 2026 will only be confirmed by ZUMA Education on receipt of a 50% deposit of the total agreed course fees. If the booking is made within 21 days before the programme start date full course fees are required at the time of booking.

Payment Terms

50% of total agreed course fees must be paid by 15th May. The full agreed course fees must be paid at least 21 days before the course start date. All card payments are subject to a handling fee and a 2% or 4% (American Express) fee levied by the card company. These fees are non-refundable. It is the agent’s responsibility to cover all bank charges and exchange rate differences for the whole transaction. If full payment of course fees in cleared funds is not received before the start date the group will not be allowed to start their programme.

Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in the course fees. ZUMA Education recommends that students travelling to USA obtain full travel and medical insurance to ensure their safety and welfare.

Visa Info

It is the agent’s responsibility to apply for and ensure the students are granted the appropriate visa for their period of study with ZUMA Education.
